Matthew 25

Social Issues and how we’re dealing with those….
Matthew 25 ministries exist at VWC because it’s a biblical mandate to feed the hungry, give a drink to the thirsty, to invite the stranger in, to give clothing to the naked, to care for the sick and to visit the ones in prison.

To this end, we take the gospel to the Kay County Detention Center once a week. The men’s service at KCDC is Wednesday mornings and is led by Pastor Rick Hughes. A team of men from Victory also bring a church service to men at the KCDC once a month on the 1st Sunday of each month. If you need further information concerning our ministry to the KCDC, please contact Pastor Hughes at 580-716-2160.

In the past, VWC has hosted a clothes closet, handed out hundreds of bottles of water to the thirsty on hot days at intersections around town in the summer, participated in Santa’s Cause which brings Christmas gifts to the underpivileged in our area as well as inviting people to church and other functions as we see the need.

Our local church is also active in the police department and hospital through our Pastor being an on-call chaplain for the Ponca City Police Department and hospital and serves once a quarter at both locations.
